The 2016 Hobie 17 North American Championships will be hosted at Carlyle Sailing Association 20960 Hazlet Park Rd, Carlyle, Illinois 62231 and Hobie Fleet 123 from the 21st August to 26th August. For the Hobie 18 it will also be the also US Sailing Multihull Championships for the Hobie Alter Trophy

With 70+ teams from all across North America will be descending on Pensacola, Florida and the Pensacola Yacht Club for the 45th Hobie 16 North American Championships. There is a growth in the Hobie 16 class and this will be the largest Hobie 16 North American Championship since 2005.
We have seen a dramatic increase in participation this year and want to make sure everyone that is interested in racing their Hobie 16 can feel welcome and not intimidated by the racers or boats involved.
