NJYRA “desires to promote, and further improve the sport of yacht racing by encouraging proficiency in planning, execution and conduct of yacht racing by organizations and/or hosting races for sailing yachts.”
Annually this award intends to recognize Race Management displaying the highest proficiency in preparedness, conduct, decision making and execution while facilitating fair sailing competition.
Technically the trophy goes to SHBCC since they are the member club, but we know who really gets the credit. I had asked Vic to attend but he was unable and Wolfgang showed up to accept as well.
