The Hobie Class Association of North America (HCANA) has an initiative to attract to more youth from their region to attend the 22nd Hobie 16 Youth World Championships. They have $10,000 allocated for a maximum of 10 youth sailors to receive a maximum of $1,000 to attend the Hobie 16 Youth Worlds. It is hoped others will follow the lead of the HCANA and offer grants to their youth sailors to attend the Hobie 16 World Championships. We hope more regions and countries will follow the lead of the HCANA to assist youth in attending the Hobie 16 World Championships in Captiva Island Florida.
